It’s citrus season, and whilst I confess to usually finding Seville oranges far too bitter, I am rather pleased with the Seville Orange Loaf Cake I created at the start of the month for my Macknade residency.
On the salad side of things I’ve got a wonderfully bright and punchy Make-ahead Vegan Chickpea Salad recipe new over at Project Meal Plan, and as promised over on my blog I’ve got another use for that jar of Sri Lankan Roasted Curry Powder I bid you toast, crush and blend to make my Sri Lankan-inspired Curried Parsnip Soup: a Sri Lankan Chicken Curry which is perfect if you fancy a project this weekend that is a little bit different, and which I’m rather excited to tuck into night along with a mountain of Sri Lankan Yellow Rice.
