Even when I lived in a tiny London flat, I have always grown fresh herbs - such a lower waste method than buying them from the store and it is lovely to always have a little something to perk things up to hand. Im running very low at the moment as I lost a lot of things over winter and I've still got a little rosemary, basil, chives, lemon balm, two thymes of thyme and sage!
